Successes -After years of conflict, a final resolution has been made to reunify the states. -Even though African americans did not have the same right as the other americans, they were now free.
-Education was now provided everywhere for everyone.
-The land was equally distributed to people
-Taxes were higher so there was economical profit.
-Black people had the right to speak as freedmen and vote
-Compromise of 1877

Failures -Although the blacks were free, the whites still discriminated them and gave them less rights. -Jobs were not provided for everyone and that resulted to poverty (especially black people). -Corruption became very common .Richer people were more powerful even though they didn't deserve this power.
-Hard workers didn't gain as much money as people who did corruptions -the Ku Klux Klan clan that supported the Jim Craw Laws and discrimination were very powerful.
-sharecropping and tenant cropping
